Categories of processed data
- Information that you actively submit, such as a long URL or an optional expiration date.
- Technical session data required for secure form submission.
- A language cookie if you manually choose a frontend language.
- Security-related pseudonymous data such as hashed IP values for abuse prevention.
- Data required for administrator login and password recovery in the protected admin area.
Purposes of processing
The data is processed to provide the link shortener, generate QR codes, secure the service against abuse and maintain the technical operation of the website.
Security checks, rule-based filtering and periodic re-checks of active links are intended to detect and limit misuse of the service.
Recipients and service providers
The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM on servers in Germany.
Cloudflare Turnstile is used to protect public forms against automated abuse. In addition, emails are sent through the operator’s own server infrastructure via SMTP when required.
Why Cloudflare Turnstile is used
URLiX generally follows a European, privacy-conscious approach. The Cloudflare proxy service is deliberately not used.
Turnstile is used only as a protective layer for public forms. It is not intended for advertising, profiling or broad visitor tracking, but to reduce automated misuse of the service.
For the current project phase, Turnstile is considered the technically and economically most practical way to secure public forms on shared hosting. European alternatives continue to be reviewed.
Storage and deletion
Data is stored only for as long as it is required for the respective purpose. Active short links remain stored until they expire, are deleted manually or are blocked by security rules.
Security and audit data is retained only for limited periods according to the configured retention settings and is then removed automatically where possible.
Your rights
You may request information about personal data concerning you, request correction of inaccurate data and, where the legal requirements are met, request deletion or restriction of processing.
You may also object to processing where applicable and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
