Cookie Settings

URLiX uses only a small number of technically necessary cookies and similar storage mechanisms to provide the service securely and in the selected language.

Currently used technologies

Frontend language cookie: Stores the manually selected website language so the preferred version can be shown again on the next visit.

PHP session cookie: Used for technical security functions such as CSRF protection and secure form handling.

Local storage in the admin area: Used only after entering the admin interface, for example to remember the collapsed navigation state.

Your choices

At the moment URLiX does not use advertising cookies, marketing trackers or external analytics services.

If additional optional technologies are added later, the settings and explanations on this page will be updated accordingly.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Cloudflare Turnstile is used solely to protect the public shortener form against bots and abuse.

The Cloudflare proxy service is not used for URLiX. Turnstile remains limited to the security check on public forms and does not serve advertising or analytics purposes.

At the moment this is considered the most practical technical and economic option for secure operation on shared hosting. European alternatives continue to be reviewed.
